General Terms
403web provides web hosting, email hosting, and digital solutions. Use of our services must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and this Terms of Use policy.
Users are responsible for the security and content of their accounts.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate services if these terms are violated.
Any activity that disrupts our servers or network integrity is prohibited.
Refunds
403web provides refunds on a case by case basis.
Maintenance time may be used by our website support team for security and performance related updates. This is done without consent of clients to ensure safety, security, and performance of websites hosted on the 403web network, however clients may request these activities not to take place. In some cases the requests may be denied if our technicians or website support staff deem it a risk to not perform the aforementioned updates.
Additional website update or maintenance requests, including backups and restorations may be made by opening a support ticket or sending an email directly to [email protected] using your account email address on-file.
Maintenance hourly rates are subject to change at any time without notice, however we strive to keep clients informed and will from time to time issue email notices regarding rate changes, we otherwise encourage clients to remain diligent in checking-in on this Terms of Use (or contact 403web staff) regarding rate changes. Rate changes typically occur at minimum once per year.
Virtual Drop-in Meetings, Live Training, and Video Tutorials
403web clients subscribed to Pro Hosting and Maintenance Plus plans (or higher) may request virtual drop-in meetings for live training, or bespoke video tutorials/guides.
Available exclusively on the Pro Hosting and Maintenance Plus plan or higher tier custom plans.
Meetings must be requested with at least 72 hours notice to ensure availability of 403web staff/resources.
Includes (by request) one (up to) 30-minute virtual meeting per month (via Phone, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet).
The duration of the meeting is deducted from your monthly maintenance time allocation.
Meetings requested while not subscribed to the Pro Hosting and Maintenance Plus plan are billed at the reduced hourly rate (see “Maintenance Time Allocation” section above).
Additional meeting time may be purchased at the same discounted hourly rate (see “Maintenance Time Allocation” section above).
Tutorials can be requested under these same terms and are also deducted from your monthly allotted maintenance time or billed accordingly.
Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
To maintain a secure and professional hosting environment, 403web prohibits:
Available exclusively on the Pro Hosting and Maintenance Plus plan or higher tier custom plans.
Harmful Content – Hosting, storing, or transmitting content that contains viruses, malware, Trojans, spyware, ransomware, or other malicious code.
Illegal Activities – Use of our services for fraud, hacking, phishing, identity theft, or unauthorized access to systems.
Abusive Behavior – Any actions that threaten, harass, or harm others, including hate speech and defamation.
SPAM & Unsolicited Emails – Sending bulk emails or using our servers for spamming, phishing, or fraudulent advertising.
Resource Abuse – Excessive consumption of bandwidth, storage, or CPU resources that disrupts server performance.
Failure to comply with our AUP may result in account suspension or termination without notice.
Copyright & Intellectual Property
403web respects copyright laws and intellectual property rights. Users may not:
Host, distribute, or share copyrighted content without proper authorization.
Infringe on trademarks, patents, or other protected materials.
Use 403web’s branding, trademarks, or copyrighted content without written consent.
If you believe a user has infringed upon copyrighted material, submit a DMCA Takedown Request to our support team with details of the violation.
Security & Data Protection
We take security seriously, but users are responsible for their own website security, backups, and access credentials. 403web will not be liable for:
Data loss due to hacking, malware, or user error.
Unauthorized access resulting from weak passwords or misconfigured security settings.
Third-party breaches affecting hosted websites, emails, or applications.
We recommend regular backups, two-factor authentication (2FA), and secure password management.
Termination & Suspension of Services
403web may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of:

Local, state, federal, or international laws
Accounts may also be suspended for non-payment or other billing-related issues.
Limitation of Liability
403web is not responsible for:
Downtime due to maintenance, security threats, or third-party service disruptions.
Third party domain registrar or DNS configuration issues resulting in downtime or loss of service.
Loss of profits, data, or business due to server outages or security breaches.
Issues caused by software bugs, hacking attempts, or user misconfiguration.
Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
New Website and Application Development
403web issues warranty and support periods strictly for newly developed websites and applications created by 403web.
The time period of 60-days is provided to new website and application development provided by 403web.
If hosted with any 403web subscription plan the 60-day period is issued as an account credit only applicable towards monthly or annual ‘Hosting and Maintenance’ plan subscriptions.
If hosted with a third party the 60-day period is issued as an account credit only applicable towards monthly or annual ‘Maintenance’ plan subscriptions.
After the 60-day period the subscription plan renews at the standard or discounted hourly rate applied to the account.
Subscriptions may be cancelled after the 60-day period, however if hosted with 403web it will result in downtime and/or loss of service.
Changes to Terms of Use
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of any modifications. Subscribed clients may be notified of significant changes to these terms, however 403web urges clients to check back on these terms regularly for changes, or contact our team for updates.
